SEPTEMBER UPDATE
FALL ARRIVES / SEASONS OF CHANGE
As you are probably aware, (if not see last month's update), Isaac & Serenity have decided to not continue in their positions on the mountain. We are fully supportive of their decision and our relationship with them is very good. We are thankful for their rich investment over this last year and look forward to seeing what is next in store for them.

This leaves us at a place of searching and seeking the Lord's direction for this next season of life and ministry. Our upcoming annual board meeting in November will likely be a pivotal time in the process of making decisions. We covet your prayers and are thankful for your encouragements and support.
WORK PROJECT
The little brown cabin has been used quite a bit this fall so between guests we started some renovations. New paint (with help from my brother Arden from Iowa), new floor in main room - bedrooms to follow, painted cabinets & doors and more.

OUTDOOR & FAMILY TIME
The space between summer and fall retreats offered us time to enjoy time with family and some time hunting and fishing. It is always such a blessing to be able to reset in such meaningful ways.
RETREAT SEASON
Next month we will feature what has been a fairly busy retreat season. Many come to the mountain for refreshment and encouragement. This means a variety of tasks for us before, during and after groups. It is good work and we we love seeing the Lord at work even if from the background.

A heart felt thank you to all who have encouraged us lately with support, prayers and encouragement. We believe God has a purpose for us and this special place in the days and years to come.
